About the Lakeshore Tennis Club:

Regina's Lakeshore Tennis Club (LTC) is a non-profit member-supported organization that has been in the community since 1915. Located in the beautiful Wascana Park, our club can be found immediately south of the Regina Legislative Building, along Lakeshore Drive. The club has been coined as the hidden gem of Wascana, and as soon as you enter the club, you can find out why. The LTC is secluded within the park's thick greenery, which provides a uniquely private and pretty touch to our members' tennis experiences. As a club, we have hosted the 2005 Canada Summer Games, and celebrated our Centennial anniversary in 2015. The LTC is a proud affiliate of Tennis Saskatchewan and is directed by a volunteer board of directors and is fully staffed in the summer months.

Our season typically runs from May through mid-September, but can slightly vary, and can run longer or shorter than expected depending on weather conditions. Our grounds include a clubhouse with lockers and well-kept washrooms and showers, along with seating areas in the clubhouse and out on our beautiful veranda if you wish to enjoy the club's onsite food and beverage venue - Bliss Bistro.

LTC welcomes new players of all ages and abilities to enjoy the full tennis experience we are uniquely able to offer in Regina. Members gravitate to tennis at the LTC to TRY, LEARN, PLAY, and COMPETE in an inclusive, social, and fun environment! LTC offers children’s lessons, summer camps for children, adult Instant Tennis lessons, weekly member instructional clinics, and opportunities for skill development through private lessons with certified professionals and instructors.

Children’s lessons are included in all juniors' LTC memberships and lessons are offered on Saturday mornings through May and June. Children’s weekly summer camps are offered afternoons Monday-Thursday, through July and August, and are open to non-member juniors who wish to learn.

Our Adult Instant Tennis lessons are designed to familiarize brand new players to the game of tennis. Open to non-members and members alike, Instant Tennis is meant to introduce players to the basic techniques of tennis, including forehand strokes, backhand strokes, volleys, and serves. Additionally, Instant Tennis provides a fun and comfortable environment to learn a challenging game with fellow novices at your level through expert advice from our instructors. If you are looking to get into tennis but are unsure where to start, look no further than the LTC's Instant Tennis programs which take place in May and June. These sessions fill up quickly so be sure to reserve a spot early in April, contact the office if you need help with registration.

A membership at Lakeshore provides members with:
LEAGUES - The LTC organizes various leagues to ensure all members have exciting opportunities to socialize and compete against other members. These leagues include our evening doubles leagues (Women's, Men's, and Mixer Leagues), our weekly daytime doubles league, a round-robin style monthly singles box league, and our Team Tennis - a scheduled multi-week competition between pre-made teams of four.
INSTRUCTION - An LTC membership grants members access to our free member weekly clinics, along with private lessons with our certified, award-winning pros and and part-time instructors who are here to help your game!
